<Nepenthe> first set foot in Kara in March '07, and on April 30 2008 killed Illidan Stormrage. This was the culmination of over a year's worth of hard work and dedication, and the sense of accomplishment was amazing! To all those in Nepenthe now, and those who one way or another helped us get here in the past I say thank you!

Oh yea....and to the guy who said "Torn's never gonna take this guild anywhere"   FUCK YOU ASHSHAYTAN! :)

What an exciting fight and first kill this was! Perfectly tuned for a bit of difficulty, randomness, and coordination. Well done Blizz! And well done Nepenthe for seeing this one through!

After a whole weekend of farming Mother trash for Hearts, and coming up way short of what we needed, Nepenthe once again pulled it all together with a MASSIVE effort of resource pooling. Two hours before raid time, we put together 18,000 gold to buy all the Hearts of Darkness needed to craft resist gear for more than half of our raiders, after which everyone spent tons of gold to buy the remaining mats needed to craft and enchant said gear.

The result appears in the screenshot below; a screenshot taken after only our third attempt on the boss. We are coming for you Illidan, and I assure you we are prepared!

Took a few nights of work to get down the tricks to each phase of the fight, but when we went in there ready to go with all the kinks worked out of our plans we 2 shotted the bitch!!
